This year, SRAM expands on the success of last season's CX1 launch with the all new Force 1 groupset. Boasting phenomenal cyclocross functionality that crosses over just as well to road and gravel adventures, this group ticks all the boxes to meet your one by drivetrain needs. The Force 1 Shifter Hydraulic Disc Brake Set serves as the speed regulator of this group, managing gearing while delivering powerful stopping and exceptional brake modulation to safely navigate the course. The hydraulic shifters feature a revamped design with improved ergonomics for better grip and finger clearance. The redesigned bodies make for more comfortable hood top hand positioning, which is extra useful when navigating a tricky 'cross course section or just trying to alleviate the abuse of a long gravel ride. Adjustable reach accommodates riders with a variety of hand sizes, and a low initiation force makes for easy lever actuation and leaves more energy for the pedals. The stainless steel calipers utilize 18mm pistons and a caliper to piston ratio specifically designed for the rigors of cyclocross. Featuring stainless steel backed pads, these calipers are designed to pair with separately sold 140mm or 160mm Centerline rotors to deftly tackle the fast speed changes and impeccable control demanded by the most technical courses.
