Scientific Anglers MPX Taper Fly Line

The GPX taper has been Scientific Anglers's flagship taper for years, but even the most successful of designs require a facelift every now and then. The newly re designed MPX Taper Fly Line maintains the same quick loading performance as the old GPX, but the newly developed MPX mastery presentation taper puts more mass to the front of the shooting head, resulting in a more delicate feel when making precise dry fly presentations. The MPX isn't a one trick pony its a half size heavier than a standard fly line, meaning it will load a fast action rod faster and have plenty of strength to cast heavy nymph rigs fished under an indicator, as well as mid sized streamers, poppers, and hoppers.
