Six Six One Evo AM Helmet with MIPS

Crashing a bike isn't exactly rocket science, but handling the impact during those crashes may well be if the new Evo AM Helmet is any indication. Six Six One has sent helmet tech into orbit with the combination of Contego EPS foam which eats up a claimed extraterrestrial 30% more impact than earthbound EPS and the MIPS system. MIPS involves a free moving layer that allows for some tectonic type give, effectively diffusing the oblique impacts that most crashes typically involve. The MIPS and Contego EPS foam are contained by a well ventilated shell that extends the coverage down the back of the head. A magnetic Fidlock strap buckle and Boa adjustment system keep all the Evo AM's protective elements firmly in place.
