Mother Nature is very indecisive, and always seems moreso when you get on your bike for your weekend ride. Sportful set out to create a jacket that protects you when you need it and folds up into your pocket when you don't. The result: the Hot Pack Ultralight Jacket. Constructed from Superleggera, a 7 denier yarn fabric, the entire Hot Pack jacket weighs only 50grams. Yet, the weave is so tight that not only is it windproof, it is also highly water resistant. This quality is enhanced with a DWR Durable Water Resistant finish. It features laser cut vents with reflective trim on the back and sides to help ventilate heat. The Hot Pack was cut to fit while in riding position and therefore the back and arms have been elongated. Elastic cuffs and hem, and a high collar help to seal out the elements. When the rain has stopped, it folds up into its own pouch and takes up less than half a jersey pocket.
