You're in for a fun day with the Rusty Happy Shovel Surfboard whether you're twisting on crummy knee high waves or twisting off bigger shoulder high ones. Rusty's crew of misfit surfers have yet to determine the Happy Shovel's limits, because it seems to play well on whatever they throw it on. Its mystical design combines a shortboard with a hybrid, and there's a high surface area and volume that make for easy paddling and planing. Rusty also designed this surfboard with a moderate width from tip to tail that shreds more like a snowboard than a surfboard. The double barrel concave works with shortboard rails to sink into water like a snowboard cutting through glorious powder. Add that to the surfboard's wider tail and flatter rocker at the nose, and you're in for a speedy treat. The Happy Shovel's one of a kind TL Pro Carbon TLPC construction features a hand tuned EPS core, fiberglass t stringers, engineered HD foam, internal and external laminates, and carbon flex panels with a hand finished hot coat.
