Tecnica's Phoenix Max 8 Boot provides superior comfort and performance for all day all mountain skiing. It has a flex rating of 80 which is solid enough for great control but also very forgiving. The boots have a soft velvet fur lining for comfort and warmth. A comfortable Quadra Fit Liner has four different layers of material for the perfect amount of cushion firmness and sensitivity. Many of the Phoenix Max 8 features are geared towards providing a perfect fit. A 102mm last provides excellent comfort as does Tecnica's Cuff Alignment System. This system aligns the boot cuffs with the natural shape of the legs and it is adjustable for a perfect custom fit. The boot collar is flared and made of softer material to accommodate calfs of different sizes. Three buckles and a 45mm velcro strap provide a great deal of security along with easy entry and removal. Tecnica recommends the Phoenix Max 8 Boot for intermediate to advanced skiers. It is a great choice for skiers who want to be able to wear the same boot all day without having to change before exploring different parts of the mountain.
