The North Face O2 Tent is a free standing tent for lightweight backpackers and thru hiking. The O2 is a two person tent, yet weighs in at a total of 2lbs, 4oz. The tent body consists of a 15D lightweight nylon no see um mesh, keeping your body protected from teeny bugs while you sleep. The large single door makes for quick entry and exit, while the tarp style fly creates a single vestibule for protecting your pack from wind and rain. The tent can be pitched with fly only to drop weight, but I totally recommend you pick up the optional footprint if that's the case. You can even leave the end poles at home and use your trekking poles to erect the tent to make your pack even lighter. Features of The North Face O2 Tent Tarp style fly provides ample coverage and a wind shedding design Large door and vestibule Multiple loops for hanging drying lines or headlamps End poles can be replaced with trekking poles for an even lighter trail weight Vaulted head and footbox for maximum internal space
