Rain gear has come a long way since ponchos and garbage bags over packs, but it often still looks like rain gear, and not necessarily like something we'd reach for every day. With the Especial Primo Pack, Timbuk2 succeeded in creating something we all actually will want to wear when it's dry out. Featuring sleek lines and a classic black and white design, the Especial is as functional as it is stylish. Timbuk2 constructs it using 420D ripstop nylon to block out water from any direction, while those sleek white accenting stripes become highly reflective when you're riding in low light. You'll have a seam sealed waterproof zipper protecting whatever valuables you keep in the zip pocket, with an outer side pocket for a water bottle or lock. One of the major shortcomings in a lot of rain gear is its lack of breathability, which Timbuk2 addresses by including an airy mesh panel along the entire back of the Especial Primo to keep moisture away from your skin on humid, rainy days and sunny ones alike.
