Voile Switchback Binding

The Voile Switchback Telemark Binding is designed to allow superior flexibility for backcountry telemark skiers. It has a freely pivoting toe for touring. You can easily switch between uphill ascents and downhill telemark skiing with your ski poles. Dual height heel elevators ensure comfortable ascents at varying slopes. The result is as much energy conservation as possible on the ascent allowing more enjoyable descents. Additional features of the Telemark Binding include an enclosed design to prevent ice from building up rivotless steel toe plates that wrap around fully a 25 mm riser height and a hardwire heel assembly in lieu of braided cables. These are the lightest bindings available weighing in at just three pounds per pair. They do not work with the Voile Release Kit.
