The chain wear indicator is exceptionally simple to use: 1 Place the indicator on the chain If there is a space between the tool and the chain, then youre good to go. 2 If the indicator lies flat on the chain, then this means the chain is worn out and should be replaced in order avoid excessive wear on drive train parts.
