Black Diamond designed the Women's Cold Forge Down Hooded Jacket to warm up brisk belays, frigid ski tours, and the alpine's constant chill. Its PrimaLoft Gold Down Blend mixes ultra fine synthetic fibers with hydrophobic goose down for the superior warmth to weight ratio of down and water resistance of synthetic fill. Black Diamond wrapped up this insulation with a windproof Pertex Microlight shell for superlight and water resistant protection. The Cold Forge also features an adjustable helmet compatible hood, stretch gusseted cuffs, and a drawcord hem to further block out bad weather.
