Providing powerful brightness and varied lighting levels and settings in a fully waterproof housing, the Black Diamond Storm is a versatile headlamp that delivers both long distance beam and close proximity options for climbing, mountaineering, caving or backpacking.The large TriplePower LED setting and its 100 Lumen output casts a beam up to 299 feet! By adjusting to the four smaller LED setting, you can maximize efficiency, achieving a maximum burn time of 200 hours. Additional settings provide a strobe light for emergency signaling and dual red LED bulbs for preserving night vision. The Storm requires four Alkaline AAA batteries included. Even with the batteries, the Storm weighs only 3.7 ounces. An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Storm remains securely in place while in use. The waterproof housing of the Storm provides all condition performance and is hinged so you can angle the beam as needed for the conditions and the task at hand.
