How do you improve on a legend The simple answer is to make it work better, and that's exactly what Campagnolo did with its Super Record Road Bike Brake Levers with Integrated Shifters. As with all the Ultra Shift levers, the Super Records allow you to upshift up to 3 gears or downshift 5 gears with a single motion. The improvement lies in the amount of cable that's pulled. The new shifters provide faster, more precise shifting. Unfortunately, this also means that the new shifters are not compatible with the 2014 drivetrain. The new Vari Cushion silicone rubber hoods employ varying densities of hypoallergenic silicone and an internal waffle pattern for added padding. The shape is upgraded, as well, with a more ergonomic feel. The new levers are made with titanium internals. They also incorporate an improved pivot point that gives you as much braking power on the hood as you have in the drops.
