The DPS Women's Yvette 112 RP2 Pure3 Ski is an undiluted all mountain charger with the chops to plane through pow, smash crud, and rail down groomers til the lifts cease to spin. The Yvette may borrow dimensions from DPS' award winning Wailer, but this women specific ski is anything but a, shrink it and pink it, kind of job. Looking under the hood, the Yvette features the Pure3 Carbon Nano sandwich construction, which consists of an aspen wood core, full UHMW sidealls, and a carbon fiber laminate this makes the Yvette both 30 percent lighter and torsionally stiffer than traditional boards.Paddle Tech geometry enables the Yvette to effortlessly float through deep fluff, while a heavily rockered tip makes for easy planing and schmearability in deep powder. Camber underfoot and a moderately sized waist offers plenty of float and maintains a good amount of maneuverability once conditions turn variable. You might expect the Yvettes to tip the scales in the wrong direction with their full side walls, wide profile edges, and World Cup race bases, but with a weight just under seven pounds, they remain light and nimble whether you're slarving through the trees inbounds or making hop turns deep in the backcountry.
