Equipped with mountain top ready features and an innovative, lightweight suspension system, the Granite Gear Leopard VC 46 is ideal for minimalist backpacking or a fast and light alpine explorations. This lidded, top loading pack weighs in at less than 3 pounds and, with lid and framesheet removed, can be reduced to just 2 pounds!Consisting of a moldedchanneled backpanel, a removable die cut HDPE framesheet and supportive foam padding, the Leopard VC 46's Vapor Current suspension maintains load stability, comfortably carries up to 35 pounds and combats heat and moisture build up. Padded shoulder straps and a padded hipbelt provide additional comfort and load support.To ensure an optimal fit, the Leopard VC 46 is available in two torso sizes. The Regular 2800 cubic inches of storage capacity fits torso lengths ranging from 18 21 and the Long 3100 cu in fits 21 24 torsos. An adjustable sternum strap and load lifter straps provide fine tuned fit adjustment. Choose from several available hipbelt sizes to further dial in a proper fit.The main compartment provides ample storage capacity beneath the removable, heigh adjustable lid. A roll down, cinch tight spindrift collar protects the contents of the packbag even if you decide to leave the lid behind. A large zippered stretch woven front pocket serves as an additional storage space and twin side mesh pockets are perfect for water bottles or other gear. A high tenacity front flap allows you to stash gear behind it and also has two streamlined, zippered storage pockets. Daisy chain attachment points on the flap are compatible with the Granite Gear Crampon Holster sold separately for true top of the mountain use.
