Answering the industry's push for plus size tires, the Ibis 942 Carbon Fiber Wheelset retained the same rim widths as the 941s but with a shallower 19.5 mm depth for a stronger, more impact proof performance. With the 942, Ibis also introduces a new hybrid carbon fiber layup, combing layers of a newer high strength carbonepoxy prepeg with their original carbon composite. The result is a lower profile rim that's both lighter and stronger than ever before.
