When it comes to maximizing good times in all conditions and terrain while minimizing the hit to your bank account, you really can't beat the multiple time Transworld Good Wood award winning K2 Raygun Snowboard. This quiver killer slays untracked pow, jump lines, and everything in between, making it a favorite of beginners and budget conscious veterans alike. This highly versatile board features an All Terrain baseline with Tweekends, giving you a rocker flat hybrid with 30% rocker and 70% flat. This predominately flat profile runs just past the inserts for stability and grip on hardpack, yet its rockered tips Tweekends provide plenty of float through deep snow, and bring a playful feel when you're buttering around the mountain. There's a bit more rise through the nose, and this combined with the directional shape and set back stance further aid in its ability to float through powder and ride over mashed up terrain without catching the nose on loose, uneven snow. Using a traditional full wood core, the Raygun offers long lasting reliability and a consistent, medium flex throughout. The board's fiberglass integrates tip to tail carbon stringers for added snap and response when you're sending jumps and navigating technical terrain. In addition, this board features K2's Hybritech construction, which uses sidewalls throughout the running length, eventually tapering to cap construction on the tips. This reduces the material at the tip and tail for a lively feel, while also reducing swing weight for smoother spins. Rounding things out is an extruded base that's easy to repair after it takes a hit on a hidden rock or rough rail.
