La Sportiva Glacier WLF

The Glacier WLF by La Sportiva is a heat resistant hiking boot perfect for post fire cleanup or forest management work. These boots are not designed for firefighting because the soles contain a heat activated glue that delaminates in temperatures above 100 degrees celsius. The sole itself is resistant up to 300 degrees celsius. In accordance with federal standards for forest firefighting the Glacier WLF boots meet the minimum height requirement of 8 inches. A Dry Best® lining keeps the feet comfortable. They also have a PU Aircushion midsole for comfort throughout long hours spent standing and walking.
