The Spantik by La Sportiva is a lightweight boot designed for climbing in cold conditions. Designed for 6 7000 meter peaks the Spantik is compact and step in crampon compatible. Its light weight makes this boot ideal for technical climbing and it also has a Water repellent Lorica® with Antiacqua exterior coating for superior protection against leaks. The outsole is made from durable Vibram® Montagna rubber rand and the insole has 5mm carbon fiber and aluminum insulation. Weighing in at just 44.48 ounces it is difficult to beat the amount of warmth and technical ability provided by this boot.
