Having a pack quiver can be useful one bag for climbing gear, one for ski gear, and one for hiking gear but having a single pack that can handle all your favorite adventures is pretty sweet. Millet's Ubic 5010 LD Women's Backpack can pull off four season duty without a hitch, thanks to its Variloop carry system, which is designed to hold everything from skis to trekking poles to sleeping pads to ice axes to climbing gear with a series of ingenious loops, straps, and zips. Being able to strap so much stuff quickly and easily onto the outside of the pack means there's more room inside for clothes, food, and other essential gear, too, so the Ubic's 5010L design can actually work for longer trips than the 2 3 day standard, if you pack carefully. Of course, the Ubic's more than capable of going streamlined, too. The lid detaches quickly if you want a smaller overnight package, and multiple compression straps cinch down your load for comfortable carrying. Millet designed the LD Adjustable Foam Lighter backpanel to fit women's bodies comfortably and gave the Ubic both bottom and top access, so you can grab your sleeping bag without unpacking entirely. The padded hip belt has a zippered pocket for easy access to small and frequently used gear, and the hydration sleeve and included rain cover keep your insides moist and your gear dry, respectively.
