It's a directional twin with a slightly set back stance, providing a bit more stability and float for making first tracks on powder days and bombing steeps. The West X is built with ultra aggressive Ripsaw Rocker Camber. This profile features accentuated camber zones underfoot for powerful response radiating toward the tip and tail. Inside this freeride board, Never Summer shaves serious weight with its SuperLight Wood Core. Designed for Carbonium Series boards, this core uses lighter woods in conjunction more durable hardwoods. The Carbonium topsheet not only looks awesome with its matte like finish, but it resists scratches and chips better than regular topsheet materials. Carbon VXR Laminates radiate from the inserts to the contacts for ultra quick response and stiffer torsional flex.
