With a sleek profile, integrated skisnowboard carry systems, wet and dry gear organization and an array of cold weather features, the Osprey Kode 22 is a streamlined, lightweight option for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or cold weather dayhiking. The Kode 22 offers durable construction and over 1200 cubic inches of storage capacity.The Kode 22's layered, ergonomic backpanel provides a comfortable fit while effectively shedding snow. An HDPE framesheet provides structural support without adding a lot of weight. EVA foam padding on the fixed harness and adjustable hipbelt increase comfort and aid in stability. The hipbelt further enhances fit by using Osprey's ErgoPull closure, drawing tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load lifter straps allow you to fine tune fit with on the go adjustments. To make certain that all users are appropriately accommodated, the Kode 22 is available in three different sizes. The Small fits torsos less than accommodates torsos less than 18.5 in length, the Medium covers torso lengths ranging from 18 20.5 and the Large is designed for torso lengths that exceed 20.There are numerous attachment points on the Kode 22 that make it easy to carry all your winter gear. An upper V style compression system secures skis or snowboards. A diagonal carry does the same and also doubles as compression for the lower packbag. Lower reinforced loops also provide an A frame ski carry option. There is an integrated external ice axe loop as well as dedicated internal pockets for stowing shovel handles, probes and goggles.The panel loading Kode 22 has ample storage and an internal division between wet and dry gear pockets. The ability to keep gear effectively separated is a standout feature for backcountry use.
