Between the season pass and the gas for getting to the mountain, affording more than one snowboard this season is out of the question. Since you need a quiver of one, count on the Rome Agent Rocker Wide Snowboard to take you from couloirs and tree runs to kink rails and park booters. It has a versatile profile and freestyle geometry to help you kill it in any terrain, and its aggressive feel is perfect for hard charging shredders who like to ride fast and go big. MtnPop Rocker 2. 0 puts rocker between the bindings for a looser feel than the standard Agent, but it still has camber zones underfoot to maintain pop and edge hold. With its stiffer flex, the Agent is definitely catered toward the rider who would rather lap the jump line than the rail section when hitting the terrain park, but that doesn't mean it's afraid of getting sideways on metal thanks to beefy Impact edges. Triax glass gives this board a snappy, responsive feel, and TurboRods Carbon Single Barrel anchored near the inserts make the board flex back into shape more quickly for higher ollies and more stable landings. The board also has a one inch Zylon strip running down the center that improves dampening and response for a smoother ride and better control in rough terrain or choppy conditions. Two zones of lightweight wood team up with poplar in the SuperPop Core Matrix for smooth, predictable flex and loads of pop. It's finished off with Rome's high end, super durable Sinterspeed base, which absorbs large amounts of wax for several days of high speed riding.
