Shimano XTR PD M9020 Trail Mountain Pedals. Not everyone that heads off road is a whippet thin, cottage of wattage, cross country or cyclocross machine looking to shed every gram with a stripped down, go for broke pedal. Shimano has you taken care of in that regard with the XTR PD M9000, but if ripping it in enduros, all mountain, or seriously gnarly trail riding is your cup of tea then Shimano serves up another rock star of a pedal in the XTR PD M9020. The engineering wizards at Shimano, seeing they already reached mountain bike pedal perfection with the PD M9000, simply added a platform to create the PD M9020. You've got the same incredible toughness, mud shedding ability, rigidity, and super smooth rolling traits but with a platform body wrapped around the perimeter to provide more real estate for confidence and control when things get technical. These bad boys are still plenty light, however, as they only add 69 grams to tip the scales at an impressive 379 gramspair. Yet again, Shimano's XTR sets the standard.
