Even though the bindings have been release tested, they must still be taken to a certified binding technician with your boots present before you use them for a visual inspection of your boots and to release test the bindings with your specific height, weight, age, skier type, and boot sole length for your safety. Properly adjusted alpine ski bindings are the most important piece of safety equipment to help guard against injury on the slopes. This is a safety test that must be done by a certified technician that you cannot perform yourself because it requires carefully calibrated equipment to accurately measure the amount of force that it takes to release the specific boot from the binding.Starting from the date of arrival you have a seven day inspection period.
