The features of an innovative day-pack in The North Face lineup are attractive, especially to greenies – wool body fabric, 100-percent recycled polyester webbing, mesh, foams and pack fabric panels and recycled plastic buckles. 

And then there’s this, listed under features on The North Face web site: “Good karma.”

The pack, called the Tree Hugger, is a truly eco-friendly concoction.

It joins other green products from TNF, including the Blue Kazoo, a 15-degree F down mummy bag made from 100 percent recycled fabrics.
