FOX Racing Shox 36 Float 27.5 160 HSC/LSC FIT Fork

We had a difficult time believing that FOX could make the 36 Float any better, considering it's the top choice for aggressive all mountain and enduro racing. However, after seeing the integration of EVOL technology into its Float air spring, we realized the excellent 36 Float just became all the more sensitive to small bumps on climbs and blistering descents. EVOL technology is borrowed from FOX rear shocks, increasing negative air spring volume for a ridiculously supple feel when you're tracking over sections of trail with small rocks and bumpy roots. 36 millimeter stanchions are incredibly stiff, working to deflect torsional forces from bucking you silly across gnarly rock gardens, bigger park hits, and steep descents. These stanchions employ FOX's Kashima coating for lower levels of friction, meaning you'll feel it eagerly soaking up every little bump and imperfection on the trail. Not only is the Kashima coating increase its sensitivity, but it also makes the stanchions more durable when you're thrashing this fork on a regular basis. This particular 36 Float gives discerning riders greater adjustability with its FIT damper providing independent control over high and low speed compression. This option is welcome if you're the type of rider dialing in every last detail of your fork's operation, especially if you' find stock settings i. e. Open, Medium, Firm to be insufficient for your riding style.
