Fi'zik Thar Saddle Kium Rails

Ever had to stand up in the saddle because your butt hurt and then lost traction on slick ground Us too, which is why we've seriously thought about mounting up the Fi'zi:k Thar Saddle with K:ium Rails on our favorite 29er. That's right, the Thar is designed especially for big wheelers, with a design that better sets up your weight over the bottom bracket for improved comfort, stability, and pedaling efficiency no more moving the saddle forward or sitting in a spot where you're not supposed to. Of course, the Thar still uses the same technologies as Fi'zi:k's other saddles. The rails are made of K:ium, a special alloy that's tougher than carbon but lighter than titanium, so you can ride hard without stressing your saddle. The carbon reinforced nylon shell uses TwinFlex technology to supply the perfect balance of firmness and flex, and Fi'zi:k's WingFlex design builds in a special flex zone at the sides of the saddle for irritation free pedaling. Microtex gives the saddle a smooth but durable surface, and there's even a replaceable nose insert that can be swapped out to fine tune the Thar's stiffness.
