If you've ever seen Kye Petersen ski, then you know that neither the conditions or the mountain are going to hold him back from going big. Being the smallest and most versatile ski in 4FRNT's Kye series, the Kye 95 is a great all mountain ski that will make short work of just about any terrain, or snow, the mountain can throw your way. All lengths hover right around 95mm underfoot with the the 173 sitting at 91mm and the 187 a coming in a bit wider at 99mm at the waist. A rockered tip keeps the ski playful, while camber underfoot offers solid edge hold, and a scaled down tail rocker helps increase the Kye's solid feel without compromising the ski's smear ability.Like other skis in the Kye series, the Kye 95 features 4FRNT's Vibe Veil technology, which consists of an elastic membrane laminated in the tip and tail in order to help eliminate tip chatter and offer a more damp and stable feel. 4FRNT stuck to its semi cap construction, which combines a capped topsheet and ABS sidewalls, striking a good balance between power and stability without sacrificing the top sheet's durability in the process. A 15% lighter poplar and paulownia wood core runs the length of the ski, while fiberglass laminates increase the torsional rigidity. That way, you can ski it hard in the resort or make kick turns up a steep skintrack in the backcountry.
