K2's NANOlite Technology has a super light, low density, aerospace grade composite in the center of the ski that has the same strength and stability as wood or metal but is very lightweight. Konic Technology pulls heavier material away from the center of the ski towards the edges that lower the swingweight and increase your maneuverability. Taper in the tip and tail prevent the tips and tails from getting hung up when things get deep.
